Repairs to powerlines have stabilised electricity supplies in South Australia's mid-north, electricity utility ElectraNet says.
It said that multiple crews had been working to repair a damage circuit near Melrose, where the worst of the storm damage occurred on September 28, leading to a statewide blackout.
Winds in the area were so ferocious that they blew over large steel towers used to carry powerlines carrying hundreds of kilovolts.
ElectraNet said the extra power brought back online by the repairs could now be made available again to industrial customers.
"We still have work to do," ElectraNet's CEO Steve Masters said.
"ElectraNet staff and contractors ... have been working tirelessly over many days."
Electranet said another circuit would be repaired at Melrose over the next few days weather permitting.
