A QantasLink plane has made an emergency landing at Perth Airport after experiencing hydraulic problems.

Qantas said the plane, flight QF1623 from Newman to Perth, landed at 11.36am.

The carrier said no emergency landing was requested by the pilots, but emergency services were in attendance as a normal precaution.

It is understood the plane experienced hydraulic problems after take-off, and the cockpit filled with fumes.

Qantas said all 102 people on board the Fokker 100 aircraft, including 97 passengers and five crew, were accounted for, although two people were transferred to Royal Perth Hospital under non-priority conditions.

The plane remains on an airport taxi-way.
