Four Australian banks have restored their ATM network after hours of technical problems, with customers around the country unable to withdraw cash.
Westpac, St George, BankSA, and Bank of Melbourne customers began reporting the technical fault on social media on Sunday afternoon.
Just after 10:00pm the banks said the outage had ended.
Earlier, Westpac said its customers' transactions were being declined, but that cards would work with other banks' ATMs and for EFTPOS.
Cardless cash withdrawals were also affected.
The banks, who are owned by Westpac, said their online, mobile and phone banking services were working.
"We're working hard to restore services as soon as possible," they said.
Several customers took to social media to complain about the inconvenience.
"I tried to make a deposit in 5 different ATM!!! In one of them I waited 10 minutes!!!! It was impossible! Very disappointed," one Westpac customer said.
The banks said they would refund any fees for using rival bank ATMs during the outage.
