A hundred local residents and foreign expats in Shanghai who have shown their skills in singing traditional Chinese operas will receive awards tomorrow at the Putuo Library.

Winners of the singing contest of traditional Chinese theaters will also perform classic excerpts.

It is a program of the ongoing Shanghai Citizens Art Festival. Launched in June, the contest attracted people from all walks of life, among whom are also young students and white-collar workers.
