Business travel
CORPORATIONS on the Chinese mainland are spending more on business travel and reducing such costs remains a priority, a survey showed yesterday. Many companies have made the switch to using travel agents, which now capture more than 50 percent of the business travel market, according to the American Express Global Business Travel survey.
Forty-nine percent of respondents said business travel spending has increased this year, driven mostly by business and trade developments within China.
