Busy schedule to promote Chinese culture
Shanghai's National Base for International Cultural Trade will have a busy time this year, said Ren Yibiao, general manager of the base.
"We have made a tight schedule, with events filled in every month, in a bid to promote Chinese culture around the world," Ren said during a media briefing.
The base plans to host or participate in more than 20 key events this year in places like the United states, Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan, to showcase both of China's ancient and modern culture.
"We take part in only those top-rated and professional fairs and exhibitions, hoping to introduce Chinese culture to more people," Ren said.
