China to establish Shenzhen-HK Stock Connect this year: PBOC governor

CHINA will set up the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Stock Connect this year, according to Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People's Bank of China (PBOC), the central bank.

This move, together with the establishment of the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect last year, showed that "the mainland capital market has been opening up to the outside world", said Zhou in an article published on the PBOC's website this week.
