DeltaHealth announces deal to open cardiac center in Shanghai

US-based medical group DeltaHealth announced it has reached an agreement with Columbia University, Division of Cardiac Surgery & Cardiology and Columbia HeartSource to develop a high-end heart center in Shanghai.
The center with 230 beds will be in the Hongqiao area in late 2015.
Under the agreement, the Columbia University heart team will give consultation and advice in developing high quality clinical guidance and protocols. It will also train physicians and other medical staff members in innovative cardiovascular procedures and patient care.
