E-book app is targeted at students
Shanghai-listed iReader Technology released an e-book application and reader yesterday specifically targeting students, the first in its kind in the domestic market.
Initially, the new store contains 20,000 books from 36 countries and regions, covering literature, science and other subjects, including works by Nobel Prize winners and celebrities.
All chosen books are reviewed by artificial intelligence technology and special teams of parents and teachers to ensure the contents are 鈥済reen and healthy,鈥 said iReader.
The app will help students find suitable material, especially those in the rural regions with limited resources. The reader also uses e-ink technology to protect eyesight.
