THE second annual Global Green Business Summit will begin on June 8 in Shanghai to discuss the challenges and opportunities in sustainable development in the following five to 10 years.
Special keynote speakers include Xie Zhenhua, vice chairman of the National Development and Reform Commission, Zhu Hongren, chief engineer of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Zhou Shengxian, minister of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
Hundreds of local and international policy makers and business leaders will gather at the summit to be held at Shanghai World Financial Center. Guests include the director of Long-Term Planning and Sustainability of the City of New York Mayor's Office of Operations and China Guodian Corp's GM.
