HU Huaibang has officially quit as the chairman of the Bank of Communications, the country's fifth-largest lender said yesterday in a filing to the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Hu's resignation was effective yesterday, according to the filing. Hu will take the helm of the China Development Bank after leaving BoCom.
