IDUSTRIAL companies in China posted an 11.4 percent jump in combined profit to 1.61 tillion yuan (US$263 billion) in the first four months, the National Bureau of Statistics said this morning.
In April, profits rose 9.3 percent to 437 billion yuan year-on-year, the bureau said on its website.
