HONG Kong-listed Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels (Group) Co, China's largest hotel owner and operator, yesterday said it reached an agreement with one of its counterparts in Shaanxi Province to establish a long-term strategic partnership.
Under a contract signed yesterday with Shaanxi Yanchang Petroleum (Group) Co, which is currently running a hotel business division with a portfolio of 19 properties across the country, including both under operation and in the pipeline, Jin Jiang will initially help manage four upscale hotels for Yanchang Petroleum, three in Shaanxi and one in Beijing. The two firms will also extend their cooperation in various fields such as hotel management, staff training and strategy study.
