Nestle Skin Health launches medical incubator in Shanghai

Nestle Skin Health, the division of Swiss food group Nestle, launched a medical incubator in Shanghai yesterday to tap the potential needs of skin care amid a growing aging population in China.

The incubator, named as Skin Health Investigation, Education and Longevity Development Center, will be established as a platform and innovation center for medical professionals to develop premier skin-care products, the company said, without giving specific investment and elaboration to the project.

Local medical investigators, clinical researchers and nursing experts will be included as participants, said the company.

The center was said to open in town by the end of March 2016, and will be the second center of its kind to company’s global innovation network, following the one in New York, US. Another 8 to 10 centers to be opened in other countries including Japan, South Korea, Australia and Brazil, company said.
