New wealth management app

PING An Insurance (Group) Co today launched an updated version of its mobile wealth management application to diversify products and services as the insurer is looking to strengthen its foothold in the Internet finance market.
The update transformed the app called Yizhangtong into an integrated platform that allows users to manage a wide range of assets including savings, credit accounts, insurances and investments.
It also provides vehicle and real estate appraisal and financial situation analysis services for users to better manage their wealth.
“The new app gives play to Ping An’s capabilities in providing a full suite of financial services to its customers,” said Luo Zibin, general manager of Ping An Financial technology Consulting Co.
By the end of July, Yizhangtong had managed nearly 700 billion yuan (US$109.4 billion) in assets for more than 60 million registered users.
