Poor management

FAMILY-RUN business accounted for 30 percent of small-sized enterprises, a survey by Fudan University showed yesterday. The university's School of Management has studied more than 700 small firms across the country and found most of them have poor management of finance and funds. Less than half of them hire external accounting firms. Experts advised companies to develop a scientific financial control system than relying on relatives.
