SAFE eyes talent
CHINA is seeking talent from around the globe to manage the world's largest foreign-exchange reserves as the central bank aims for higher returns amid global market turmoil.
The State Administration of Foreign Exchange is hiring professionals for positions, including asset strategy, alternate portfolio investment and market risk management, it said in a statement on its website yesterday. Applicants who have worked or studied abroad, or have experience at institutions such as sovereign wealth funds, will be given priority for some positions, the regulator said.
