Topping out for towers
HKRI Taikoo Hui, a 17 billion yuan (US$2.7 billion) mixed-use development in Shanghai’s Nanjing Road W. commercial precinct, announced yesterday the topping out of two premium office towers.
Standing 250 meters and 170 meters tall, HKRI Center One and HKRI Center Two cover a total gross floor area of over 170,000 square meters. A 50-50 joint development of HKR International and Swire Properties that is scheduled to open in phases from the second half of 2016, the newest landmark project also consists of over 100,000 square meters of high-end retail space, two luxury hotel and one serviced apartment buildings with a total of over 400 rooms.
