BOC Aviation, the wholly-owned leasing unit of Bank of China, said it has signed a contract to buy 30 A320s from Airbus.
The new planes will be delivered between 2012 and 2014. The company didn't reveal the contract value.
Including the newly-announced order, BOC Aviation has ordered a total of 128 A320 aircraft, of which 80 have been delivered.
The leasing company has doubled its fleet in the last three years and now owns a portfolio of 163 airplanes that are leased to major carriers worldwide.
