BYD Drives To List On Shenzhen Bourse
CHINA'S battery and car maker BYD Co yesterday posted its initial public offering prospectus as it moves ahead with its yuan-backed A-share listing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange later this year.
BYD Co intends to issue up to 79 million shares, or 3.4 percent of its enlarged capital, on China's smaller market to raise 2.2 billion yuan (US$338 million) for expansion.
The firm starts its pricing consulting today with road shows planned in Shenzhen, Shanghai and Beijing until June 16. It is already trading in Hong Kong.
