Chrysler to recall cars

CHRYSLER’S local unit will recall 25,505 cars on the Chinese mainland due to a flaw that could cause fires, the quality watchdog said on Friday. The cars are imported Grand Cherokees produced between January 1, 2011 and December 11, 2013, it said in an online statement.
Cords in the vehicles’ sun visors may lead to short circuits or fires, the statement said, adding that the recall will start on October 20.
