Eying sales growth

MECAPLAST Group, a European auto equipment maker, aims to boost China sales to 1 billion yuan (US$147.7 million) by 2014 from an estimated 350 million yuan this year.
The Monaco-based company, with 570 million euros (US$724.9 million) in global sales, also plans to build a third plant in China's south, Alain Sarran, director for international operations, said.
The new plant will have an annual output value of 40 million euros and be completed by the end of next year, he said.
Its two existing Chinese plants are in Shanghai and Wuhan, Hubei Province.
