Ford sales boom
FORD Motor China sold 56,880 units in December, up 52 percent year on year, and bringing total sales to 582,467 units for 2010, up 40 percent from 2009.
Changan Ford, Ford's passenger vehicle joint-venture in China, sold 403,283 units in 2010, an increase of 34 percent from a year ago.
"It's appropriate that in 2011, the year of the rabbit, we will be moving quickly to bring more of the vehicles Chinese consumers want and value," said Joe Hinrichs, CEO of Ford Motor China.
