Honda acts

HONDA Motor Corp will recall a total of 459,962 CR-V sport-utility vehicles and Civic sedans in China to fix problem in their horns.

The recall, starting from April 30, affect models produced by its Chinese venture with Dongfeng Motor Group. The defective CR-V models were made between July 10, 2009 and August 16, 2011. Affected Civic sedan were made between July 10, 2009 and August 31, 2011.

The China's General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said it has recently received several complaints from consumers about the malfunction of the horns.
