Infiniti picks plant
INFINITI, the luxury brand of Japanese carmaker Nissan, has chosen a plant of Nissan's joint venture in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, as its Chinese production site.
Dongfeng Motor Co, a joint venture between Nissan and its Chinese partner Dongfeng Motor Group, yesterday said it will invest 2 billion yuan (US$315 million) in the Xiangyang plant to raise its annual production capacity from 130,000 to 250,000 units.
