New head
NAVISTAR, the United States truck and engine maker, aims to grow in China and throughout Asia by appointing a new head for its Asia-Pacific operations.
In September, Navistar, which produces International brand commercial trucks, clinched joint venture agreements with China's Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co to manufacture diesel commercial engines and commercial vehicles in China.
"The similarities between our two nations and infrastructure growth patterns combined with our heritage of innovation best position us to help lower logistics costs and further China's economic development goals," said Troy Clarke, president of Navistar Asia-Pacific.
