Normal output
TOYOTA yesterday said it will resume normal production levels in Europe in June after resolving problems with parts delivery caused by the disastrous March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Toyota Motor Europe said in a statement yesterday that four plants would resume normal output volumes on June 1. They are auto assembly plants in Britain and Turkey and engine plants in Britain and Poland. An assembly plant in France resumed normal output on Monday.
Due to parts delivery problems, the Japanese auto maker had reduced the pace at all five plants in May.
