SHANGHAI General Motors Automobile Co has reported a 66 percent sales increase in the first half of this year to 480,005 units, the company said yesterday.
The joint venture between General Motors Corp and SAIC Motor Corp said the brisk sales hit a new record and surpassed the full-year sales of 2008. June sales amounted to 71,785 units.
