US$6m Car Sold Out
FIVE Aston Martin One-77s were sold to Chinese customers even before the show opened yesterday.
The model, one of the most expensive cars in the world, has a minimum price of 38.8 million yuan (US$6 million). The price could go much higher with customized extras, the company said.
Only 77 models are available worldwide and just five were on offer in China. Every one of the British-built cars is personally tailored for each customer.
Based on a carbon-fibre chassis with a hand-crafted aluminum body, the 7.3 liter V12 supercar, says the company, "will deliver exhilarating performance for a strictly limited number of discerning customers."
