VOLKSWAGEN AG said its auto financial service affiliate has recently won the regulatory approval to set up a new investment company in China. The Volkswagen New Mobility Service Investment Co will focus its investment on businesses, including short-term and long-term leasing, after-sale services and alternative mobility solutions such as e-mobility, the company said. Volkswagen Finance China reported auto financing business for individuals in 2011 rose 56 percent from a year earlier.
