GLOBAL auto parts maker WABCO Holdings Inc said it would supply its adaptive cruise control to China's Yutong, the world's largest manufacturer of buses, as they boost cooperation on advanced safety technologies. The deal marks the first adoption of ACC technology on a commercial vehicle on the Chinese market. Series production will start in the first quarter of 2012 with WABCO ACC equipped on Yutong's high-end buses, including hybrid electric buses. WABCO will continue to supply Yutong with electronic stability control and electronic braking systems on its high-end buses.
