7 million and counting

SHANGHAI Volkswagen's accumulated output surpassed 7 million vehicles on September 9, when a New Passat drove off the production line at its manufacturing facility in Nanjing, capital city of Jiangsu Province.
SVW's New Passat, Tiguan (Tuguan), Lavida (Langyi) and Polo series have proven a hit with customers. SVW's Skoda brand, which was introduced to China four years ago, has achieved a total sales volume of more than 500,000 vehicles including three major series - Octavia (Mingrui), Superb (Haorui) and Fabia (Jingrui).
