THE Guangqi Trumpchi GS5 is the first sport utility vehicle of Guangzhou Auto's passenger car product offerings. Guangzhou Auto designed the car with a wheelbase of 2,710 mm, a rare long option in the compact SUV segment in China. Developed from the European high performance car platform, the Triumpchi GS5 has a 2.0-liter DCVVT engine or 1.8-liter turbo engine to go with the five-speed auto transmission. The 2.0-liter engine can generate a maximum power of 108 kilowatts. In high-end variants, the car also offers an advanced four-wheel drive system.
