Jinbei to make trucks in Russia

SHENYANG Jinbei Automotive Co, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brilliance China Automotive Holdings Ltd, plans to enter the Russian market through a joint venture with local company AMS Auto.
To form the joint venture, Jinbei will acquire a 60 percent stake in Key Harvest Ltd, a Hong Kong company that owns a Russia-based car factory with 65,000 square meters of plant space, 126,000 square meters of land and related facilities. AMS will purchase the remaining 40 percent stake in Key Harvest.
The venture will be engaged in production and distribution of Jinbei-branded light-duty trucks in Russia.
