Mercedes-Benz unveils fashionable CLA

MAKING its China debut on the 2014 Mercedes-Benz China Fashion Week in Beijing this month, the stylish four-door coupe becomes the new sought-after item among the country’s fashion pioneers.
Its striking features include the hood embedded in the front end with powerdomes and the diamond radiator grille, which, coupled with an interplay between concave and convex surfaces, gives the car an unmistakable look.
In keeping with its sporty positioning, the CLA will be available with a high-torque turbo engine, sports suspension and 4MATIC all-wheel drive. With a Cd value of 0.23, it sets a new benchmark — both within the Mercedes-Benz model range and among all production vehicles. The drag area, Cd x A — which is crucial to aerodynamic resistance — also leads the field, at 0.51 square meter.
