THE new VW Sagitar sedan, produced by Volkswagen's venture with FAW Group Co, is developed from the US version of sixth generation of VW Jetta. The car is measured at 4,644 mm in length, 1,778 mm in wide and 1,482 mm in height. It also has an improved wheelbase of 2,651 mm, about 73 mm longer than the previous edition, which allows for bigger leg room at the back seat. Like other family members, the new model is powered by VW's fuel efficient power package TSI turbo-charging engine and DSG auto transmission. It is available with three engine options: the 1.6-liter engine or 1.4-turbo engine or 1.8-turbo engine. To go with the engines are three transmission choices including the five-speed manual gearbox and seven-speed DSG transmissions.
