Macau seeks greener cooperation

TO further strengthen business cooperation in environmental protection, the "Green Business Cooperation Day" and a series of activities will be held during the 2010 Macau International Environmental Cooperation Forum on Thursday, the organizing committee announced yesterday.
The activities will include "The Green Economic Business Summit" and "Green Business Networking Cocktail Reception and Signing Ceremony," according to the committee.
Representatives of commerce chambers from the Chinese mainland, Europe and Portuguese-speaking countries, as well as business leaders of listed companies and large international environmental enterprises will present market overviews and development opportunities in the environmental industry.
The forum aims to further enhance Macau's green business cooperation with global companies and assisting firms to tap opportunities in green development, the committee said.
