Brewer gets bids

CHONGQING Brewery Co said it has received bids for its 12.25 percent stake from Anheuser-Busch Inbev NV, Carlsberg A/S and China Resources Snow Breweries, a joint venture between China Resources Enterprises and SABMiller.
"As the biggest beer producer in China's southwestern region, the company has stable growth and good investment returns," said Wang Xi, an Industrial Securities Co analyst.
The brewer's first-quarter net profit rose 5.3 percent year on year to 34.4 million yuan.
