Ctrip adds Jumeirah to its portfolio

CHINA'S largest online travel agency Ctrip said it has reached an agreement with hotel chain operator Jumeirah to allow web users to book its hotel rooms online.
Jumeirah is poised to attract more Chinese visitors to its luxury hotels in Europe, the Middle East and in China at a time when the Chinese are splurging more on their leisure trips at home and abroad.
Ctrip also offers direct hotel booking service for large hospitality groups like Shangri-La, Hilton, InterContinental, Marriott and Accor. It hopes overseas hotel booking can diversify its revenue.
