Global top gift show to come to city in March

THE organizer of the world's biggest gift show will bring its fair to Shanghai for the third time, with a much bigger size compared with its first appearance.
Business Guide-sha Inc, organizer of the grand Tokyo International Gift Show, will host the Gift Show in Shanghai, or the 2015 Japan Lifestyle Goods and Home Accessories Fair, in March next year.
The second Tokyo Beauty & Health World in Shanghai, a component fair, will be held at the same time.
In December 2013, Business Guide-sha hosted its first independent exhibition in China's mainland to display gifts from Japan and China. Altogether 73 companies joined the fair, which received 7,073 visitors. The numbers increased to 87 exhibitors and 18,604 visitors in the 2014 fair.
For the March one, the organizer said 150 companies are expected to take part in, while the number of visitors may surpass 25,000.
The Gift Show in Shanghai is scheduled to be held at Intex Shanghai, an exhibition center in the Shanghai Hongqiao Development Zone, from March 25 to March 28.
