LeTV and Foxconn unveil set-top box

Domestic online video company and Internet content provider LeTV today revealed the latest version of its set-top box today.
LeTV has teamed up with electronics manufacturing giant Foxconn to launch smart TV products.
A series of products, including flat TV sets, are expected to be unveiled this year under the LeTV brand.
And the company plans to deepen their collaboration in the hardware sector.
Shenzhen-listed LeTV said earlier this year it will invest up to 100 million yuan (US$16.08m) with partners to invest in smart TV applications and other relevant projects.
The move is intended to cement its market position and fend off rivals such as Youku Tudou Inc and Sohu TV.
Internet content providers have been eager to expand into other value-added service and enter into the hardware sector to cover both content and device.
