No. 2 casino destination
SINGAPORE may be the world's second biggest gaming spot after Macau this year, local TV reported.
Analysts are confident that after Marina Bay Sands' strong numbers, gross gaming revenue from the two casinos may overtake Las Vegas Strip by the end of this year, Channel NewsAsia said yesterday.
MBS raked in gross gaming revenue of over US$2 billion last year. Resorts World Sentosa posted net gaming revenue of US$2.6 billion. Analysts said their combined gross gaming revenue is US$5.7 billion.
