US food fest opens

THE first US Food Festival, hosted by the US Food Export Association and the US Consulate General in Shanghai, will run through January 10 in Shanghai in outlets of G-Super under the Greenland Group.
Customers can taste American food, including cheese, nuts, biscuits, chips, drinks and various other snacks, which are also sold at lower prices.
Zechariah Dontaye Henderson, deputy director at the Agricultural Trade Office of the US consulate, said the US is seeking to further raise its exports of agricultural products to China with rising Chinese demand for high-quality food.
