COMMERCIAL real estate developer SOHO China Ltd said yesterday that it has formed a partnership with taxi-hailing app Uber.
Under the deal, SOHO China will provide Uber with tailor-made office space at one of its SOHO 3Q projects in Shanghai while the US-based company, which launched operations in China in February last year, will offer tenants of SOHO 3Q more convenient and high-quality transport solutions. Uber offers tenants of SOHO 3Q projects in both Shanghai and Beijing a 50 yuan (US$8) coupon which can be used for their first ride in Uber cars.
