UNITED States-based water treatment company Evoqua Water Technology said it will use its new seawater purification technology to tap into the Chinese market.
The technology, known as Nexed, which desalinizes seawater for industrial use, was jointly developed with Singaporean team, it said.
The process is about 30 percent more energy efficient than traditional methods, which puts it in line with China’s drive toward greener production, the company said.
