2 in 3 applicants refuse job offer
TWO in three Chinese candidates who succeeded in the final round of interviews refused a job offer, as they are unsatisfied with the salary, according to a survey released by Hudson Recruitment in Shanghai yesterday.
The survey interviewed 1,750 employers and employees across China. Lily Bi, general manager at Hudson's Shanghai office, said about 40 percent of the employers has been aware of the rising number of candidates who quit final interviews or refuse an offer. This was usually due to a lack of information transparency in the salary and employers' attitude.
