Aquatic products

CHINA exported 102,000 tons of aquatic products via ports on Hainan Province in the first 11 months of this year, a 1.6-percent annual rise, local customs said yesterday.

They were valued at US$360 million, up an annual 10.8 percent.

In November alone, 11,000 tons of aquatic products were sold abroad via Hainan ports, up 90.1 percent monthly. They were valued at US$45.58 million, up 110 percent.

Between January and November, 34,000 tons of aquatic products were exported to the United States, down 2.2 percent annually, and 14,000 tons were sold to the European Union, up 25.8 percent annually.
