CPI may climb

CHINA'S consumer price index, a major inflation gauge, might begin to see growth in November, Stephen Green, head of research for Standard Chartered Bank in Shanghai, said over the weekend. The CPI may rise 4 to 5 percent next year, the bank said in its recent research report. The CPI dropped 1.2 percent in August year on year.
