Cheaper fuel prices in Shanghai

FUEL prices in Shanghai will be lower from today after the government cut prices due to falling cost of crude oil.

The ceiling price for 92-octane gasoline will drop to 6.73 yuan (US$1.10) per liter from 6.88 yuan, while a liter of 95-octane will fall to 7.16 yuan from 7.32 yuan.

The new price of diesel will be 6.62 yuan per liter, down from 6.77 yuan. The government adjusts fuel prices every two weeks. The latest cut was the eighth in a row.
