China, Ukraine ink deals

CHINA and Ukraine signed deals worth US$3.5 billion yesterday during President Hu Jintao's visit to the country, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich said.
"According to our estimates, the financial value of agreements, projects and contracts signed during the visit is about US$3.5 billion," he said after meeting Hu in Kiev.
Yanukovich said the deals cover industrial, energy, infrastructure and agricultural sectors.
